Yamal Diagnosed with Hamstring Strain, Out for Nations League

Barcelona has announced on Monday that a series of tests have conclusively identified Lamine Yamal's injury as a left hamstring strain, which was sustained during his duty with Spain.

The teenage star underwent the necessary tests subsequent to his departure from the national squad following their 1-0 victory against Denmark in the Nations League on Saturday.

Spain confirmed that the seventeen-year-old forward has been returned to his club in order to mitigate the potential risk of injury.

Barcelona refrained from providing a specific timeline regarding his return and instead conveyed that he will remain inactive until complete recovery has been achieved.

Barcelona's upcoming match will be hosted at home against Sevilla in the Spanish league this Sunday.

Yamal is expected to be accessible for the upcoming fixtures against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on October 23rd and the Spanish league "Clasico" against Real Madrid three days later.

Yamal will be absent from the upcoming Nations League home game against Serbia on Tuesday. He played a pivotal role in Spain's victorious campaign at this year's European Championship.

Coach Luis de la Fuente has made the decision to enlist the services of Rodrigo Riquelme from Atletico Madrid as a suitable replacement for Yamal.

Yamal has participated in 11 matches and secured five goals for Barcelona during this season.
