The ecological footwear brand Psudo, located in Los Angeles, and the American heritage footwear brand Florsheim have teamed up to create a summer capsule collection.
The inaugural Florsheim x Psudo collection offers a variety of footwear alternatives while fusing the quality tradition of Florsheim with that of Psudo. The capsule features seven different hues and patterns that are arranged into three main divisions: Basic, Summer, and Bold.
The Basic collection honors Florsheim's history by incorporating classic colors like brown, navy, and charcoal. The Summer collection, on the other hand, features vibrant palm leaf motifs perfect for the summer months, coupled with a gentler color scheme that includes denim and sage green. Lastly, Psudo's distinctive snake texture accentuates bold color combinations like navy or orange and dark purple/aqua ombre in the Bold line.
Florsheim's parent company, Weyco Group Incorporated, is led by John Florsheim, president and chief operating officer. He was excited about the partnership with Psudo and described the trip as "fantastic." He emphasized the chance to work with an enthusiastic team to explore sustainable footwear technology. Florsheim is excited about the opportunity to reach new audiences with creative partnerships like this one with Psudo.
Psudo's facility in Los Angeles, California produced the first capsule collection using domestically sourced materials. Every shoe in the collection uses Psudo's cutting-edge sustainable technology to divert 7.2 single-use plastic bottles out of landfills and the ocean.
Every shoe in the Florsheim x Psudo capsule is made with comfort and convenience in mind. Its construction is machine washable, and its soles are resistant to grease and slips. Additionally, its insoles are made with an arch support system that lasts all day.
