Snoop Dogg's Unique Auction: Half-Smoked Blunt and Rare Memorabilia Draw Big Bids

Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper, has launched an exciting auction called "The Shiznit" on the online marketplace The Realest, featuring an eclectic mix of personal memorabilia. Among the highlight items is a blunt partially smoked by Snoop Dogg himself, encased in resin and preserved in his own ashtray, authenticated to assure its authenticity. This unique piece has attracted nearly 50 bids, currently valued at over $1,915.

But that's not the only hot item on the block. A 2001 Los Angeles Lakers championship leather jacket designed by Jeff Hamilton is leading the auction with a $5,000 bid. Additionally, a Death Row Records chain necklace, signed by Snoop, is also drawing considerable interest with a current bid of $3,000.

The auction doesn't stop at these headline-grabbing pieces. It also includes a cherished 1989 Nintendo Game Boy from Snoop's earlier days, master recordings, tour props, handwritten notes, vintage clothing, photo prints, magazines, and unique documents. This trove of items offers a glimpse into the personal and professional life of the rap icon.

Snoop expressed his surprise at the value of these items, stating in an interview with Variety that he and his team had not realized the worth of what they possessed. The Realest's founder, Scott "DJ Skee" Keeney, emphasized the auction's potential to create a new revenue stream for artists by offering fans rare and authenticated memorabilia, much of which holds significant sentimental value.
