Vin Diesel Delights Young Fan in Remission from Leukemia at FuelFest Event

Vin Diesel recently made an unforgettable impact on a young fan's life by surprising him at the FuelFest event held at the Irwindale Speedway in Los Angeles. On Saturday, June 1, Diesel met 4-year-old Colton Pursglove, a Fast & Furious enthusiast and leukemia survivor now in remission.

Colton's mother, Jordan Pursglove, shared with PEOPLE that her son was thrilled to meet his idol. She recalled a moment last Halloween when Colton dressed up as Dom, Diesel's character from the Fast & Furious series, after becoming enamored with the films.

FuelFest, co-founded by Cody Walker, brother of the late Paul Walker, and Chris Lee, drew a crowd of 15,000 enthusiasts. The event showcased a variety of high-performance and exotic cars and featured live racing activities. It also supports Reach Out WorldWide, a nonprofit dedicated to providing quick-response aid to disaster-stricken areas, founded by Paul Walker following the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti.

Diesel, reflecting on his connection with Paul Walker, shared a poignant tribute last year, emphasizing their deep bond and Walker's dedication to humanitarian work. Cody Walker also recounted the strong support the Fast & Furious cast extended to his family following his brother's tragic death.

This heartwarming meeting between Diesel and young Colton at FuelFest highlights the enduring legacy of the Fast & Furious community and its commitment to supporting meaningful causes.
